A fairer way to discover independent music
RmonyX was built around a simple idea: good music should have a chance to be heard because people genuinely discover and enjoy it, not because somebody paid more to push it to the front.
What RmonyX is
RmonyX is a music discovery community for listeners and artists. Artists can submit links to music on supported streaming services, while listeners can discover songs, follow artists, comment, like music and build their own playlists.
RmonyX does not host the recordings. Music is played through the original streaming service, helping artists keep their existing presence on platforms such as Spotify, YouTube and SoundCloud.
Discovery should be earned, not bought
Money cannot buy RmonyX credits, chart position, boosts, playlist placement or extra ranking. Members earn credits by genuinely taking part in the community. That creates a system where an unknown independent artist has a real opportunity to be discovered alongside everybody else.
For listeners
Joining is free. Discover new music, follow artists, leave useful comments and create playlists for whatever you are doing or however you feel. Your playlists can be called anything you want, such as Driving, Exercise, Sleep, Party or Sunday Morning. Public playlists can be shared with friends both on and away from RmonyX.

For artists
RmonyX is designed to give independent artists useful discovery rather than empty numbers. Listening activity is measured at meaningful milestones, helping distinguish a click from somebody who actually stayed and listened. Artists can see listening and engagement information in their analytics.
Why credits exist
Credits reward participation and help keep the community moving in both directions. If you want people to discover your music, RmonyX encourages you to discover other people's music too. Credits have no cash value and cannot be bought.
Playlists and favourites
Every member can keep favourites and create custom playlists. Songs can be added, removed and reordered. Playlists can be private for personal use or public and shareable with friends. Public playlists also give independent music another route to genuine discovery.
Our aim
RmonyX is not trying to replace the major streaming services. It is building a discovery layer around them, focused on fairness, participation and finding music you might otherwise never hear.
